At Alderbrook Properties, you won’t just find nice, new houses.  Of course, our homes are semi-custom built for you, and all would agree that they are beautiful. But more than that, they offer residents quality, luxury, and affordability in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful neighborhoods. Designed by prominent Bainbridge Island architects - BC&J and Roger Katz & Associates - each Alderbrook home is created to compliment the natural, scenic beauty that will surround you. Tile entryways, hardwood flooring, slab granite counter tops, painted millwork, built-in bookcases, stainless steel appliances, custom tile showers, jetted Jacuzzi tubs - and that’s just the beginning.

As our community grows, we’d like to invite you to take a look and see which design is best suited for you and your family, and offer you the opportunity for luxury living without the hefty price tag. When you visit, take a tour of all six home models and enjoy partnering with our architects and designers to create the semi-custom home you’ve always wanted. So, take a look and get in touch today!  We’d love to show you around.

Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club: Meet the Head Pro, Update on New Clubhouse

When Head Pro Justin Gravatt feels at home on the AGYC, there’s a good reason - he practically grew up on the course, and first learned to golf on our greens at just 12 years old. Gravatt developed a love for the game and by the time he entered high school, he knew he wanted to be a golf pro. He earned his degree in pro golf management from Walla Walla Community College, and started his career as an associate instructor at Washington National - the home course of the University of Washington Huskies. Gravatt was soon promoted to assistant pro before moving to Bellingham where he worked at the Bellingham Country Club as assistant pro. He gets alot of joy from teaching golf and loves that his work allows him the opportunity to interact with people and teach his favorite game to others. When he returned to AGYC in 2006 and later became head pro in 2007, he felt right at home, and loves the close knit, welcoming community and family atmosphere that is alive at Alderbrook - not to mention the great golf course. AGYC Community Center/Clubhouse construction update
Earlier this year, we reported on some upcoming changes to AGYC. The new, 8,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and community center is starting to take shape, as the foundation has been poured and the walls should be up sometime this month. Work on the interiors is scheduled to start in July, as staff and residents eagerly await the opening of this new building, complete with card room, library, pro shop, offices, food service, meeting facilities, and terrace room. The new facility will also include a covered, circular driveway and natural, Pacific Northwest-inspired materials will be used inside and out. In addition to structural upgrades, AGYC will also rebuild the parking lot, install a new putting green, and enlarge the pond at the 18th green to bring more water into play.
