Another new home is under construction! We broke ground this week on lot 60 on Fir Tree Lane. The new owners have chosen the Spruce plan! Expected completion before the end of the year.

Tapping into a program created by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, Republic Mortgage is offering a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage, also known as the “Lifestyle Mortgage,” for qualified Alderbrook buyers. The oldest and most common reverse mortgage of its kind, this program is open to those 62 or older who would like to buy a home and convert part of their existing home’s equity into income. Depending on qualifying criteria, it is possible to purchase a $250,000 home with a $100,000 down payment and make no further payments other than taxes, insurance and dues.
Republic Mortgage Senior Loan Officer Brenda Leech is working closely with the Alderbrook sales team to show buyers how they can purchase a home here with support from an HECM transaction that involves only one set of closing costs, and is insured by the Federal Housing Authority.
